The American Serbian Association for Prosperity (A.S.A.P.) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering collaboration, unity, and prosperity among the Serbian diaspora, especially within the United States. Founded by Marina Schwabic, A.S.A.P. celebrates its fifth anniversary this year, and has participated in or produced over 45 events since its inception.

KEY OBJECTIVES

Sustainable Well-being: A.S.A.P is deeply invested in the enduring well-being of the Serbian diaspora spread worldwide. It aims to nurture the mutual love, appreciation, and shared concerns of Serbs for their motherlands including Serbia, Kosovo and Metohija, Republika Srpska, Crna Gora, and other territories of the former Yugoslavia.
Leadership Assembly Platform: The organization has launched the Vidovdan Horizon Initiative, an umbrella platform for Serbian American Diaspora Organizations, leaders, and influential individuals. The purpose of this initiative is to orchestrate discussions and forward momentum on subjects of mutual concern.

Regular Meetings: The organization plans to host 4-5 Vidovdan Horizon Forum (VHF 2050) events annually. These are aimed at coordinating activities, strengthening the Serbian Diaspora ecosystem, and eventually establishing a think-tank for future generations.

Promotion of Unity: A.S.A.P. underscores the significance of unity and collaboration for the advancement of the Serbian diaspora. It believes in the mantra: "Samo Sloga Srbina Spasava" which means "Only Unity Saves the Serbs."

Holistic Approach: Recognizing the diverse needs and approaches of the diaspora, A.S.A.P. appreciates both nonprofit, non-political initiatives that create a sense of belonging and those that seek to exert political influence, leveraging both traditional and social media.

Inspiration from Other Communities: A.S.A.P. seeks mentorship and guidance from other diaspora communities like Armenian, Greek, and Jewish communities, learning from their experiences and challenges.
